Global Report on CWBT

Dr. Varela led World Vision’s firsts Global Reports on Child Well-being Targets. From two pilot experiences to the first wordwide coverage of the report, led by Dr. Varela, significant advances were observed: strong ownership by national and regional offices of the process and product, better alignment of programming to strategy, standardization of indicators (including a critical mass of CWBT measurements) and good utilization of CWB information by senior leadership in national offices for evidence-based decision making.

Dr. Varela’s legacy to WV International facilitates CWB Reports continue to evolve based on learning and feedback to maximize data quality and usefulness to national office leadership.
